I'm Alex Lacey, the Webmaster at CRM Audit™ with a passion for web development. My Caribbean roots are at the core of who I am. The rich culture, vibrant colours, and warm spirit of the Caribbean inspire me in both my professional and personal life. Growing up, I was captivated by the digital world, fascinated by how technology could connect people and bring ideas to life. This fascination, coupled with my innate creativity, led me to pursue a Higher National Diploma (HND) in Web Design and Development at Coventry College. I'm proud to bring a touch of that vibrancy to my work in web development.

I'm Clive Bailey, an experienced audit coordinator at CRM Audit™. With a strong background in business and market audits, I have been a dedicated professional in this field for the past 5 years. My professional journey has been defined by a commitment to detail, a strategic mindset, and a collaborative approach to problem-solving. My passion lies in helping businesses make informed decisions and providing valuable insights through meticulous audit practices.

I have been in my current position for the last 3 years and love every day of it. Previously, I was a Senior Auditor at Market Insights. One of the most rewarding aspects of my current role is the opportunity to contribute to the company’s growth by ensuring that its operations remain robust and compliant while supporting innovation. Outside of work, I enjoy staying active and engaged in professional development. I regularly attend industry seminars and workshops to stay informed about the latest trends in auditing and financial management. I’m also a keen runner and participate in local sporting events in the West Midlands, which I feel helps me maintain a balanced and focused mindset.

I'm Emily Flowers, and I am in charge of CRM for CRM Audit™, both in a corporate role (within the group) and as an advisor to clients, with a passion for leveraging technology and data to enhance customer relationships and drive business growth. As a seasoned CRM specialist with 5 years of experience in the hi-tech industry, I'm dedicated to enhancing customer relationships and driving business growth. I'm proud to be a part of the CRM Audit™ team, where we aim to deliver outstanding customer experiences.

I hold a Master's Degree in Business Administration from the University of Strathclyde, which has equipped me with the knowledge and skills to excel in the dynamic field of CRM I’ve built a career focused on understanding customer needs and using innovative solutions to deliver exceptional experiences. My master's dissertation focused on the impact of AI on CRM systems, an area that continues to inspire my work today.

What excites me most about my role is the constant evolution of technology and its potential to transform how businesses connect with their customers. I'm Liz James, and I'm excited to introduce myself. As an Audit Coordinator at CRM Audit™, I'm dedicated to ensuring that businesses are on the right track with their financial health. I bring nearly two decades of experience in auditing and compliance, with a background in financial auditing and an ever-growing expertise in broader operational audits. I joined CRM Audit™ in 2020 as their Audit Coordinator. This role has been a refreshing departure from traditional financial auditing, allowing me to dive into the dynamic world of marketing.

Outside of the world of audits and spreadsheets, I'm a passionate horse rider, and I find solace in the company of these animals.

Professor Thom Poole has lived, studied, and worked in England, France, Germany, Switzerland, and Liechtenstein, gaining international marketing and management experience with large blue-chip multinational companies, such as HiltiBlack & Decker, eBayGoogle, and O2.

Passionate about the opportunities the Internet revolution offers companies for marketing their goods and services, Thom has been using it for these purposes almost since it started, in 1993. He is passionate about marketing and reclaiming the Internet for ethical marketing, developing CRM solutions for businesses. He has been a keynote speaker on the subject of CRM, written books, and delivered insightful training courses on CRM.

He now uses his skills to support small and medium-sized companies develop their expertise in marketing – particularly around the cost-effective and easy-to-learn web-based options.

Thom has in-depth knowledge and experience in all the available Web-based marketing initiatives, from basic e-mail campaigns to more complex website development and search engine optimisation capability.

Alan Whittaker
Financial Director

Alan Whittaker possesses over 35 years of dedicated experience in finance, marked by a progressive career built on a strong academic foundation. He earned a Bachelor of Arts (BA) in Economics & Accounting from the University of Manchester (1982-1985).

His career began at Reynolds & Croft Accountants, where he gained foundational experience in audit, tax, and financial statement preparation. He then moved on to work as the Financial Controller at Crown (Midlands) Engineering Solutions Ltd., managing daily accounting, developing financial models for costing, and assisting in system transitions.

From 1997, Alan was Head of Finance at TF Jones Logistics Group, where he directed all financial aspects for a rapidly growing firm. He significantly reduced operational overheads (15%), managed successful acquisitions, and streamlined reporting times (25%), contributing to the company's national expansion. In 2008, Alan became the Finance Director at Mercia Foods Group. Here, he has spearheaded financial strategy for a £150M+ turnover group, consistently improving profitability, leading a successful SAP ERP implementation, and expertly managing debt facilities.

Alan joined CRM Audit™ in 2021 and made an immediate impact, keeping the costs in check whilst allowing the creative staff the freedom to create innovative solutions for customers.

Alan is an Associate Chartered Accountant (ACA). His career demonstrates a consistent trajectory of increasing responsibility, strategic impact, and a commitment to financial excellence that we appreciate. Outside work, Alan loves to cruise the Llangollen Canal or walking in Snowdonia, and spending time with his two grandchildren.

My name is Thomas Walser and I’m proud to serve CRM Audit™ as the Business Development Executive for Central Europe. I was born and raised in the picturesque village of Triesenberg in Liechtenstein, and I’ve always had a deep appreciation for the unique qualities that make each region of Central Europe special. I worked extensively in the DACH region. In 2021, I was thrilled to join CRM Audit™ as the Business Development Executive for Central Europe. CRM Audit™ appealed to me because of its innovative approach to marketing and its commitment to creating tailored solutions for clients and because I can talk to Thom – the founder - in my local dialect, not a common occurrence for a Liechtensteiner.

Central Europe is incredibly diverse, with its languages, traditions, and business practices. By combining my regional expertise with CRM Audit’s cutting-edge marketing strategies, I help clients overcome challenges and capitalise on opportunities. Whether it’s helping a start-up in Zurich expand its reach or supporting an established business in Munich with its digital transformation, I take pride in making a tangible difference.

Outside of work, I’m fortunate to live in a place that offers endless opportunities for outdoor adventures. In the winter, you’ll find me skiing on the pristine slopes of the Alps, and in the summer, I enjoy hiking and mountain biking through the stunning landscapes in Liechtenstein and neighbouring countries.
